‘MTV Movie Awards’ Simulcast Scores 3.5 Million Viewers Across 9 Networks – The Wrap

Last year’s show brought in 2.3 million total viewers across four Viacom channels

The “2016 MTV Movie Awards” hauled in a bunch more viewers than last year, but the show was also simulcast on a bunch more stations.

Last night’s linear premiere earned 3.5 million total viewers across nine Viacom networks (MTV, Comedy Central, VH1, BET, MTV2, CMT, TV Land, VH1 Classic and Logo). The 2015 version had 2.3 million viewers across four channels (MTV, VH1, MTV2 and Logo).
